The last weekend in January was all about startups! We’re proud to say that we partnered with Techstars Startup Weekend Amsterdam to help aspiring entrepreneurs experience the startup life!

Techstars Startup Weekend is the world’s starting point for entrepreneurship, designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs, with the most diverse backgrounds. Startup Weekend hosted a three-day program that brings entrepreneurs (to-be) together to create an environment where passionate, driven, and like-minded individuals can come together to get startup projects off the ground while learning and networking.

The winners of the weekend were an impact-driven business, aiming to make festivals (which we all love and miss) more sustainable and locally-driven! It was a first where there was an equal gender judge panel (with our CEO Elianne representing EPIC, of course), majority impact-driven startup ideas and a gender parity mentor group!
We loved being part of the Startup Weekend.
